Larry Painter first stepped onto Hollywood’s red carpet as a Regional Director of Operations in February of 2003, in the Texas market. Fast forward one year, Larry quickly rose to the rank of Zone Vice President for Hollywood Video overseeing the majority of the south central and southeastern states and eventually the entire eastern half of the country.
Larry’s values and beliefs guided him in his success as a leader. Everyone who interacted with him experienced his loyalty, respect and compassion and unwavering commitment to the Company.
As a mentor, Larry had a great desire to help others succeed in the industry. Few leaders are as intuitively effective in holding their teams accountable, while creating inspiration and approaching each day with a mindset of service to their teams.
Hollywood extends its deepest sympathy and condolences to the entire Painter family especially, Cathie, Mallory, Brian & Hailey, and to all of Larry’s friends and colleagues. He is truly a Hollywood Legend.
